Setup
Setup Company
  e Financial Apps. function for multiple companies. Operations related to creation and deletion of companies is available in the Setup Company Menu option.
 
Select Company
  Access “Select Company” option via “Setup” menu. It can also be invoked by using the [F2] function key. When invoked, a list of all created companies with unit and financial year are displayed.
 
User Right Profile
  User rights profiles are defined by the administrator to establish the accessibility permission of users. This Option can be found under “Setup” menu or with the icon on the toolbar. To edit Profile, click the “Edit” button.
 
Users
  Users are individuals who use the e Financial Apps. suite of applications. The option is used to create users by assigning a login ID (username and password) through which they can access the software.
 
Define Right Policy
  Based on regulatory stipulation established within the organization. Rights policy determines, which modules and the extent to which access is given to a users, this also includes the kinds of programs they may install on their computers, as well as their ability to reserve network resources.
 
Remote DBA Server
  This allows access to a PC from a remotely location. The option find application for Data synchronization and can be found under “Setup” menu or through the icon on the toolbar. It can also be invoked by using the [F6] Function key. To update Remote server, click the “Update” button.
 
Backup/Restore
  Backup refers to the maintaining a copy of data, with the purpose of having an additional copy of the original. If the original data is damaged the data may be copied back from that source. This process is known as Restore.

Year Transfer
Master Data
  Year transfer means transfer of all the data of a company at the end of a financial year for the use in the new financial year. This option can be found under “Year Transfer” menu or it can also be invoked by [F5] function key.
 
Inventory Closing Stock
  At the end of the financial year, an itemized list or catalog of the stock the company is transferred for the use in new financial year.
 
Account Closing Balance
  At the end of the financial year, all accounts data of company must be transferred to the new financial year. This option can be found under “Year Transfer” menu.
 
Replacement Account Ledger
  This option is used to transfer the accounts ledger from one account head to another; all the transactions of related to the ledgers are also transferred. The option can be found under “Year Transfer” menu.
 
Replacement Group Items
  This option is used for transferring the group items of one group to another. All the transactions of one selected group are transferred. This option can be found under “Year Transfer” menu.
